Meg Sheil-Puopolo, who oversaw $1.2 billion in client assets at Fidelity Investments, has joined Verdence Capital Advisors in Baltimore as a director and wealth advisor.

Sheil-Puopolo was formerly a vice president, financial consultant at Fidelity, where she worked for the past 18 years.

In her new role with Verdence, a private wealth advisory and multifamily office, Sheil-Puopolo will work with primarily high-net-worth individuals and their families by setting financial goals and establishing investment strategies, the company said.

Sheil-Puopolo earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Indiana University.
