On the technology front, almost all advisors—93 percent of the survey’s respondents—are planning to invest in technology this year, either to update existing or implement new technology at their firm. Three-fifths of the respondents implemented new tech in 2018, and a similar proportion plan to introduce new technology to their firm this year.
