Brookstone Capital Management LLC, a Chicago-based RIA with $2.7 billion in client assets under management (AUM), has promoted Chief Operating Officer Darryl Ronconi to the additional position of president, according to a news release.

Ronconi, who joined Brookstone in 2015, will retain his position of chief operating officer, while adding the responsibilities of president to his current duties. He will continue to manage the company’s day-to-day operations and will work with Brookstone founder and CEO Dean Zayed to strategically grow the practice, the press release said.

Ronconi has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree from DePaul University.

This past July, AmeriLife Group LLC, headquartered in Clearwater, Fla., acquired a majority stake in Brookstone, which was founded in 2006. Under terms of the deal, Zayed will continue as CEO of Brookstone while also assuming the title of president of a new investment advisory services division at AmeriLife.
