A former Merrill Lynch team that handled $369 million in client assets has joined Rockefeller Capital Management in Burlington, Vt., according to a news release.

Parker, Kvasnak & Associates is led by Joshua Gates Parker, managing director, private wealth advisor and senior portfolio manager. The team also includes Neil Kvasnak, senior vice president, private wealth advisor and corporate finance and financial planning, and Jessica Dows, associate vice president for team operations. The team will join Rockefeller's Southeast Division, headed by director Kristen Sario, the release said.

Parker had been with Merrill Lynch since December 2008, according to BrokerCheck. Prior to that, he was with Morgan Stanley, where he began his career in 2001. He was named to the Forbes “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” list from 2019 to 2022 and in March 2021 he was named to Barron’s “Top 1200 Financial Advisors.” According to Forbes, Parker’s team managed $369 million in assets, with a typical account size ranging from $1 million to $10 million.

Kvasnak joined Merrill Lynch in 2017. He began his career with First Union Brokerage Services Inc. in 2000 and worked there for less than a year. He was not registered with the industry again until 2010, when he joined UBS Financial Services, according to BrokerCheck.
