The fund will invest in a portfolio of fixed-income securities, seeking the corporate bonds of companies with high marks for things such as corporate citizenship, greenhouse gas emissions and ethics.
TIAA Enhances Wearable Account App
TIAA has announced an enhanced app with user account information for display on Apple and Android smart watches.
The wearable app provides access to account balances across retirement savings, health care, brokerage, bank, trust, mutual fund, life insurance, immediate annuity and after-tax annuity accounts, as well as assets held outside of TIAA.
Clients can now access their portfolio balances and track retirement goals at the tap of their wrist. The watch app complements TIAA Mobile and TIAA Direct, the company’s applications for mobile phones and tablets.
The application is available for all Android Wear and Apple Watch devices running Watch OS 2 or higher.
New York FinTech Firm Offers White Labeled TAMP
The first fully fiduciary white-labeled retirement platform has been introduced by Vestwell.
Vestwell says its TAMP modernizes defined contribution plans by combining automated investing capabilities with an advisor’s touch.
The platform includes investment services, trading, administration, custody, record-keeping and trustee services.
