Larson Payne Larson Group, a former Wells Fargo team of financial advisors with $222 million in assets, has joined Ameriprise Financial’s employee channel in Edina, Minn., according to a news release.
Tony Larson, Russell F. Payne and Rob Larson, will be joined by their support staff, which include registered client service associates Michelle Farrell and Kevin Gathke.
Tony Larson established the firm in in 2000. In 2012, Payne joined and Larson’s brother, Rob, came on board in 2013, the release said.
“Among all the options, we chose Ameriprise because it was the firm with the right resources to support the financial planning relationships we have with our clients,” Tony Larson said in a prepared statement. “We like how Ameriprise is focused on making it easier for advisors to do business with clients through their investments in technology-enabled advice.”
Ameriprise, which has its headquarters in Minneapolis, Minn., has a nationwide network of approximately 10,000 financial advisors. The company said more than 4,000 financial advisors have joined since 2008.
