A UBS breakaway team that oversaw $330 million in assets under management today announced that it has launched TriaGen Wealth Management, a registered investment advisor designed to help individuals and families implement cohesive financial plans and lasting legacies, according to a news release.

The Calabasas, Calif.-based RIA is run by Bryan Garris as well as his father, Nick Garris and co-founding partner, Orlo Elfes. Operations manager Leslie Sager also is on board. The release said the firm offers a range of professional advice spanning financial planning and portfolio management.

The transition to independence was aided by TruClarity Management Solutions, a Tampa-based practice management firm that provides comprehensive transition and business operations support to advisors seeking independence.

Bryan Garris said becoming an independent fiduciary was a natural progression that aligns with the firm's priorities as a family-run business. “Through collaboration, we relied on TruClarity’s expertise and experience as they helped make our vision a reality,” he said in a statement.

Pam Stross of TruClarity said they were “incredibly fortunate’’ to work with the TriaGen team. “It is exciting to work alongside them as they realize their dream of becoming an independent firm,” she said.
